History

SILVER FOX KARTING was formed early in 2009 to offer a complete service to karters with the major emphasis on 4stroke racing. The two people who are “SilverFoxKarting” have many years experience in motorsport which can only be of invaluable help to young racers looking to start their karting career or to develop into national class racers.

COLIN LIPSCOMB

Colins career in karting starting in the 60’s in Germany racing very early style karts amongst the straw bails of RAF Bruggen. He has rallied, raced, sprinted and hill climbed cars and motorbikes at Club level as well as rebuilding engine etc in his “front room”. For the past 10 years he has been involved specifically with kart racing with Ken and helped his sons achieve some success. His eldest son is the reigning RAF Germany Endurance Champion whilst his younger son has held a national “number” in three different classes for 10 years.

For many years Colin has been associated with Llandow Kart Club and is the current Competition Secretary of that Club. He is also on the ABkC Steering Committee and on the Kart Safety Committee.

KEN DENSCOMBE.

Ken is a well known figure at circuits all over the UK and has produced top class racers in many classes. With his years of experience in Mechanical Engineering as well as his hands on approach he is a top mentor for youngsters. Ken himself has been a successful racers in endurances, taking part in 24 hour events in the UK and in Europe. He has run Junior World Champions, British Champions, Welsh Champions as well as many Club Champions. In the world of 4stroke karting Ken is a guru.

Ken was one of the originators of Llandow Kart Club and has been the President of that club from the very first.
